HITC Sport understands Wales international is undergoing medical ahead of Cardiff move.
Cardiff City are on the verge of signing Fulham and Wales defender Jazz Richards, with the player undergoing a medical at the Cardiff City Stadium, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Cardiff boss Paul Trollope is a big admirer of Richards and sees him as a valuable addition to his squad for his plans at the club.
Richards joined Fulham last summer from Swansea City after an initial six-month loan spell at Craven Cottage the previous season.
The 25-year-old made 26 appearances in all competitions last season, but found his first-team opportunities limited following the arrival of Slavisa Jokanovic as head coach.
Richards played a key role in helping Wales qualify for this summer's European Championships and he made one brief cameo appearance off the bench at the finals in France in the 2-1 win over Slovakia.
Fulham are willing to let Richards move on after bringing in Tomas Kalas on loan from Chelsea and Cardiff have moved quickly to agree a deal for the versatile defender.
Richards will join a select band of players to have played for both Swansea and Cardiff should he finalise his move to the Welsh capital once he comes through his medical.
