Liverpool's Daniel Sturridge in action with Augsburg's Ragnar Klavan
Liverpool are on the verge of signing Estonia defender Ragnar Klavan, report The BBC.
While he may not be the stellar marquee name like Mats Hummels that the Reds had hoped would shake up their defence, he may just turn into a classic Jurgen Klopp bargain.
He is a player who Liverpool have already come up against, and he has already got to grips with striker Daniel Sturridge - as seen above.

Klavan plays for Augsburg who met Liverpool in the last 32 of the Europa League back in February, a match the Reds won just 1-0 on aggregate.
Liverpool were unable to score a goal in open play over the 180 minutes against Klavan's Augsburg, netting only through a James Milner penalty kick.
In the match at Anfield, Klavan was impressive individually, making seven clearances - more than any Augsburg defender.
He also made three tackles and won two interceptions, blocking one shot, playing a part in restricting the Reds to managing just eight of their 24 shots on target.
Klavan will have to win over his new fans, but he has already shown himself capable of handling the Anfield pressure cauldron on a European night, a feat more established defenders including Mats Hummels last season could not manage.
