Chelsea are lining up a shock move for Swansea City forward Andre Ayew, The Sun has reported.

Antonio Conte is keen to make an impression at Stamford Bridge as he looks to make the Blues a force in English football once more, with a striker thought to be at the top of his transfer wish list.

However, after completing a £30 million deal for Leicester City's N'Golo Kante, he is understood to have ruled out making any further big-money moves, and sees the Ghana international, who has been linked with a move away from the Liberty Stadium this summer, as a perfect fit.

Sunderland and West Ham United have both been linked with Ayew recently, but The Sun claims Chelsea are now at the front of the queue.
