Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp has told the club’s official website that he is expecting one or two more signings to join the club this summer.

The Reds have been busy so far, with four new players arriving already as the German looks to mould his squad.

Marko Grujic and Joel Matip joined after agreeing deals earlier this year while both Loris Karius and Sadio Mane have also been added.

They are unlikely to be the only players Klopp signs this summer though, with fans expecting him to oversee a major overhaul of the current group.

The reds boss however, admits that he is only expecting to make one or two further additions in the remainder of the window.

“A few things will happen I am pretty sure,” he told liverpoolfc.com.

“We have a few players, maybe who want to leave us and I am pretty sure it will happen – and one or two more players will join us from other clubs.”

It remains to be seen what further signings that Klopp will look to make before the transfer window closes at the end of August.

The minimum aim for them will be to secure a top four place and a return to the Champions League this season, but that will be a tough ask to say the least.

With the rest of the Premier League also strengthening, there will be fierce competition for a top four spot and Liverpool may need further additions to ensure they are among the contenders.
