Leeds United head coach Garry Monk has been quoted as saying by the club’s official Twitter page that he could bring in more players in the summer transfer window.
The West Yorkshire outfit have been quite busy so far this summer, as they prepare for the upcoming 2016-17 campaign.
Marcus Antonsson, Robert Green, Kemar Roofe, Kyle Bartley (loan), Hadi Sacko (loan) and Matt Grimes (loan) have all been drafted into the Leeds squad for next season.
Monk has suggested that the Whites could make more signings this summer, something that the fans should be happy about.
The former Swansea City manager has also stated that the Leeds players need to step up.
The 37-year-old was happy with his team’s 3-0 victory over Shamrock Rovers in a pre-season friendly match at the Tallaght Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
However, Monk wants the Leeds players to step up, and he has also thanked the club’s fans for their support.
Leeds’s pre-season preparations have been going well, and Monk will now want his players to step up and become more serious.
The 2016-17 Championship campaign will start soon, and the Leeds head coach will want his players to be in prime condition for the opening game of the season.
