Celtic won 2-1 against Wolfsburg in a pre-season friendly yesterday.
Ajer was handed his first chance to impress in Celtic’s first-team at Parkhaed, and his performance caught the eye.
The 17-year-old grew into the game, and helped Celtic pick up a 2-1 win over the Bundesliga side.
Ajer’s performance earned praise from Rodgers, but the Northern Irish boss did admit that the youngster looked anxious during his first few minutes on the pitch.

There are great hopes for Ajer’s future at Celtic, as he is tipped to have masses of potential.
Ajer was already playing first-team football in his homeland of Norway, before completing a move to Glasgow.
Celtic scored their goals against Wolfsburg through Callum McGregor and Ryan Christie.
Celtic’s next match comes against Lincoln Red Imps in the second-leg of their Champions League qualification tie on Wednesday.
