Reports in Germany are suggesting that Borussia Dortmund utility player and World Cup winner Matthias Ginter could be leaving the club this summer – with three Premier League clubs all sharing an interest in the player.

The report also mentions serious interest from German side Hamburg – although the player is said to not be keen on a move to the Imtech Arena.
Ginter joined Dortmund from Freiburg in 2014 and was part of the Germany squad that won the World Cup in Brazil two years ago.
However, since his move to Dortmund, he has struggled for regular football and has often been used in a right-back position – not his favoured central defensive or holding midfield spot.
When he made the move to Dortmund Ginter was heavily linked with Arsenal, who are in need of defensive reinforcements. Southampton could see him playing in a holding midfield role after the departure of Victor Wanyama to Spurs. Meanwhile Mauricio Pochettino would not pass up the opportunity to sign such a top young talent.
Ginter is set to head on international duty with Germany for this summer’s Olympic Games in Brazil, so a decision on his future is expected prior to that.
