Joe Hart's recent displays must have been cause for concern for Manchester City.
The England and City stopper has suffered an alarming drop in form over the past few months, highlighted by his shambolic displays for his country at Euro 2016 where he was directly at fault for at least two of the goals conceded by the Three Lions.
Joe Hart's form has dipped of late
The Mail go on to claim the four-time capped Dutch international could be available for as little as £7 million, which would be a bargain in the current market.
The 25-year-old made the Eredivisie team of the year last season, after keeping 13 clean sheets for PSV and helping them go on to retain their title.
Zoet was in imperious form for PSV last term
Zoet is both physically imposing, standing at 6 ft 2 in, and incredibly agile at the same time. He would provide fierce competition for Hart, and could help the 29-year-old regain his form from previous years by pushing him that little bit harder in training.
City certainly need to strengthen in the goalkeeping department with current back-up Willy Caballero's contract due to expire next summer, and Zoet would be the ideal acquisition for the Citizens.
Jeroen Zoet is reportedly available for around £7 million
