Glasgow Rangers boss Mark Warburton is on the verge of bringing his ninth signing of the summer to Ibrox it seems.
And while the Evening Times adds that his representatives are still in talks with the Foxes about a new contract, Dodoo has suggested that not only would he like to join the Gers, but he also hinted that a switch could be confirmed imminently.
"We are hoping to get it sorted. I have enjoyed my time in Glasgow this week and the staff and the rest of the players have made it easy for me to settle in. They have been very welcoming," he told the Evening Times.
Rangers manager Mark Warburton
"It is a great city and a great club. The training facilities are excellent. What the manager and the club are trying to do is exciting as well and it's something I want to be a part of.
"We are in talks and are trying to get something sorted out. We don't really know exactly what's happening yet. Hopefully something can be agreed in the next 24 hours."
There appears to be the potential for a deal to take place that involves both clubs. The Evening Times reports that it remains to be seen whether the youngster will be joining the Light Blues on a permanent deal or on loan, so it appears that he could still be playing for Warburton's side next season, even if he agrees a new contract at the King Power Stadium.
Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri
It seems highly unlikely if he does stay with Leicester, that the Premier League champions will have any issue letting Dodoo - who is capable of playing on the wing or up front - join the Gers on a temporary basis.
Claudio Ranieri was unable to hand the prospect many opportunities last season, so may feel that joining Rangers is the best move for the sake of his development.
And judging by Dodoo's comments, he will need little convincing that moving to Ibrox is the best option for him.
