Skrtel ended an eight-year association with the club on Thursday as he completed a move to Turkish side Fenerbache. In that time he made over 300 appearances for the club, with one League Cup success to his name.

Much of his time at Anfield was spent playing alongside Lucas, with both having joined in the same season. Indeed, the duo was some of the elder statesmen at the club, with few players remaining from their time at the club.
And Lucas was keen to wish his long time teammate all the best for the future after he completed his move away.
It now remains to be seen whether Lucas will follow Skrtel in making an exit from Liverpool this summer.
He finds himself down the pecking order at the club at present, with the likes of James Milner, Jordan Henderson and Emre Can currently ahead of him, while Marko Grujic’s arrival has added further competition to the squad.
