The Dutch striker joined Spurs for £18.6 million this week.
PSV Eindhoven striker Jurgen Locadia has admitted it would be a dream for him to follow in the footsteps of new Tottenham Hotspur signing Vincent Janssen and make the move away from Dutch football to the big-time.
Locadia told Voetbal International this week:
"It's something to think about. I'm getting older. Just look at Vincent Janssen.
“Getting a good year and the opportunity is in rush hour and then go to a nice club (Tottenham Hotspur). That's my dream. "
PSV Eindhoven's Jurgen Locadia reacts during the match.
It comes in a week that Janssen finally made a move to Spurs. It was a transfer saga in which Spurs were continually told to up their offer for the AZ Alkmaar striker, who scored 27 goals in the Eredvisie last season.
Netherland's Vincent Janssen celebrates.
In the end Sky Sports report that Spurs paid a fee in the region of £18.6 million for the player.
Locadia however needs to improve if he is to get a similar move. The 22-year-old was once considered PSV’s hottest talent but he has faded away in recent years.
He has often found himself playing out of position and talk of a Premier League move is not currently on the agenda.

Maybe one day he can get back to his best and even force his way onto the radar of Tottenham Hotspur.
But what Locadia’s comments show is how Janssen has seemingly found the promise land, which so many other Dutch based players dream of.
