Elated to score - Marko Grujic
Marko Grujic has told the club's official website of his euphoria at scoring for Liverpool, describing it as a 'dream come true.
Grujic joined Liverpool this summer from Red Star Belgrade for a reported £5.1 million, with a work permit being awarded at the beginning of this month.
The 6ft 3 inch midfielder is widely regarded as the next Nemanja Matic due to his tall physique and his operating in a holding midfield role.
Is Grujic the next Nemanja Matic?
Grujic made his first appearance in a Reds shirt yesterday in a pre-season friendly against League One club Fleetwood Town, and he more than impressed in the centre of the park.
He was at the heart of everything Liverpool did, winning a penalty early that was squandered by Danny Ings, but he took matters into his own hands by opening the scoring with a deflected shot 12 minutes into his debut.
He was then denied a second when he smashed a strike against the woodwork.

And, after an impressive 45 minute run-out, Grujic was on cloud nine for having gotten onto the scoresheet for the first time for the Reds.
"The game was incredible," Grujic said.
"I'm so proud of my team and my teammates to give me the chance to play for this club and in my first game I scored - my dreams have come true and I feel very happy and proud.
"When I came here I only wanted to be with these guys, these 20 players, and now the coach gave me the chance to play in the first XI and to score, and I'm so happy."
