According to the Chronicle, Newcastle United are looking to add another winger to their squad.

The Magpies have been busy so far this summer, bringing in no fewer than five new signing as Matz Sels, Dwight Gayle, Matt Ritchie, Jesus Gamez and Isaac Hayden have all made the move to St James Park.

Manager Rafa Benitez is targeting further signings though as he looks to build a squad capable of securing promotion from the Championship at the first time of asking.

And according to the Chronicle, adding another winger is one of his targets for the rest of the window.

He has already lost Andros Townsend to Crystal Palace as the former Spurs man elected to return to the Premier League.

Matt Ritchie was brought in to replace him, but it appears that the Spaniard wants more options than the former Bournemouth ace.

Currently youngster Rolando Aarons is their only out and out left-winger in the squad, so that area is one where the Magpies could look to improve.

At present, no names have been mentioned but it is likely the Magpies will be willing to spend big money to secure a top target if Benitez deems it a priority.
