Fulham are lining up a move for Brentford goalkeeper David Button, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Button's future at Brentford looks uncertain after Brentford secured the signing of Southend United goalkeeper Daniel Bentley earlier this month.
Button is entering the final year of his contract at Griffin Park and the club have opened talks with him over a new deal, but he has yet to agree a new contract.
The news has alerted Fulham who are in the market for a new goalkeeper this summer following the departure of Andy Lonergan to Wolverhampton Wanderers last summer.
Lonergan was Fulham's No.1 keeper last season, making 31 appearances for the club and Cottagers boss Slavisa Jokanovic is keen to bring in a new keeper to bolster his options at Craven Cottage.
Former Tottenham keeper Button has a wealth of experience in the Championship, having been an ever-present in the league for Brentford during the last two seasons.
Jokanovic is keen to build a sizeable squad at Fulham this summer as he aims to avoid a repeat of their relegation survival battle next season and he is ready to firm up his interest in former England youth international Button.
