Report: Tottenham and West Ham battle it out for 19-year-old Juventus player Rolando Mandragora

Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are reportedly involved in a race to sign Italian youngster Rolando Mandragora.

Premier League duo Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are currently involved in a battle to secure the services of Juventus midfielder Rolando Mandragora, according to reports from Tutto Mercato.

Rather than spending ridiculous amounts on high profile players like the rest of the Premier League Tottenham and West Ham have instead been looking to make sensible signings and most of their reported targets have been promising young players whose value could potentially increase exponentially in the future.

Now according to reports emerging out of Italy, Spurs and the Hammers are currently targeting a player of the aforementioned category in the form of young Mandragora.

According to reports from Tutto Mercato, Tottenham and West Ham have joined the likes of Sassuolo, Bologna, Pescara and Crotone in the race to sign the highly rated midfielder.

Mandragora only joined Juventus from Genoa during the January transfer window for a fee which could rise up to £10 million, and while the 19-year-old has not yet made a senior appearance for the Old Lady, he has managed to impress with fine performances while on loan at Pescara as well as for the Italian under-19 team.

Mandragora’s displays are reported to have caught the attention of Tottenham and West Ham and the Premier League duo currently remained locked in a battle to win the race to sign the promising young star.
