New Leeds United signing Hadi Sacko got his Leeds career off to a perfect start by scoring the winning goal on his debut.
The winger was handed a start in the pre-season fixture against Shelbourne, and doubled the Whites' lead shortly after Souleymane Doukara's opener.
Leeds conceded a goal in the second half but went onto hold on for a 2-1 win, to get the Garry Monk era off to a positive start.
Sacko signed on a season long loan from Sporting Lisbon, and after clinching his move, vowed to give everything to succeed.
Very excited to be part of this new chapter of @LUFC . I'll give my 1000% to succeed here— Sacko (@miimosaa) July 5, 2016
There is a long way to go before his spell can even be considered a success, but it is a case of so far so good for the 22-year-old Frenchman.
Leeds have lacked quality wingers over the past three seasons, with Stuart Dallas the only wide player in the squad who made a valuable contribution last season.
Can Sacko complement Leeds' Stuart Dallas?
Jordan Botaka will be looking to improve, but it is Sacko who has made the most of his early opportunity, and he will be looking to continue this during pre-season to put himself in with a chance of starting their first Championship game of the season away to QPR.
Here is a look at how Leeds fans reacted to Sacko's performance...

Pleasing to see Sacko register a goal in his first outing. Still young and will flourish with sensible management.— Lucas (@433Lucas_) July 13, 2016
