The offer was accepted by Liverpool who, despite planning to use Ibe next season, felt it was only right to let him discuss the move.
It was unknown whether he would accept the offer or try and fight for a place in the Reds first team.
However, according to the Liverpool Echo he has agreed personal terms with Eddie Howe’s side and the deal is now expected to go through this week.
They report that he was at Liverpool’s Melwood training ground on Tuesday, where he said goodbye to his teammates and staff.

His departure will bring about a disappointing spell at Anfield after much hype about his potential.
He had been eyed as a potential replacement for Raheem Sterling when he departed for Manchester City, but was dogged by inconsistency and failed to convince Jurgen Klopp he merited a place in his plans.
