Tottenham Hotspur finally have a new striker in the bag.

Tottenham Hotspur fans finally got the news they had been hoping for when Vincent Janssen was officially unveiled as a Spurs player on Tuesday morning.

The Netherlands international signed from AZ Alkmaar, becoming Tottenham’s second signing of the summer after Vincent Wanyama, and now he has been photographed with the club’s shirt for the first time.

Janssen enjoyed a superb campaign for Alkmaar last time out, scoring 32 goals and providing seven assists in 49 matches in all competitions.

With 27 Eredivisie goals in just 34 appearances, Janssen clearly has an innate talent that Tottenham fans will be hoping swiftly makes him a star at White Hart Lane.

Janssen has been made no secret of his desire to be a Tottenham player and now he has his wish he will be hoping to hit the ground running, especially with Harry Kane looking woefully out of sorts for England at Euro 2016 after a long hard season for his club.

Ultimately the two could form a devastating partnership but to start with it could be Janssen taking up the slack while Kane returns to full match fitness after a well deserved break.
