West Bromwich Albion are eyeing a move for Dynamo Kiev striker Dieumerci Mbokani, who spent last season on loan to Norwich City, the Sun reports (page 8, Goals pull-out).

It was reported over the weekend that West Brom striker Saido Berahino was keen to quit the club this summer (Telegraph) and Mbokani could replace him at The Hawthorns.

The DR Congo international hit seven goals in 29 league outings for struggling Norwich last term before returning to Kiev at the end of his loan.

However, with only a year to run on his contract in the Ukrainian capital, the 30-year-old could be back on the move this summer.

The Baggies have already released Victor Anichebe this window, while another front man, Rickie Lambert, has been tipped to follow Berahino out the exit door (Birmingham Mail).

Should the pair depart then Hawthorns boss Tony Pulis would be left with Salomon Rondon as his only senior centre-forward.

And Mbokani, who was a teammate of West Brom defender Sebastien Pocognoli at Standard Liege, could fit the bill as a potential replacement, having racked up a club career strike rate of better than one in three.
