Leeds United are only two days away from their first pre-season match of the summer.
Leeds United’s players have been photographed in training ahead of their pre-season friendly against Shelbourne on Wednesday evening.
The Whites are currently in Ireland preparing for the new Championship campaign and they have plenty of new signings to put through their paces.
Hadi Sacko, Kyle Bartley, Marcus Antonsson, Matt Grimes, Kemar Roofe and Rob Green have all arrived at Elland Road this summer and more players are expected to follow in due course.
New Leeds manager Garry Monk will know he has a big challenge ahead of him to get the club out of the second tier and back into the Premier League at his first time of asking, but with a couple more solid additions it will certainly be achievable.
Many of Leeds’ new faces were caught on camera in their latest training session – courtesy of the club’s official Twitter account – but it is what they do on the field in the upcoming games against Shelbourne and Shamrock Rovers that will give Monk a good idea of who will start their first competitive match of the season.
