Riyad Mahrez celebrates after scoring for Leicester
Leicester City's Algerian star Riyad Mahrez has returned to the club for pre-season training, joining up with the Foxes in Austria as the champions posted a picture of the 25-year-old back in the blue of the club, midway through a summer of speculation about his future.
The Algerian had an astonishing season at the King Power Stadium last year, reaching a standard only the very best players in the world can hope to achieve.
Though the industry of the likes of N'Golo Kante and Danny Drinkwater, and the goalscoring run of Jamie Vardy were essential to the Foxes fairytale Premier League win, it was Mahrez that demonstrated genuine superstar ability week after week.
Mahrez scored 18 times last season and assisted 10 times, and it was often his trickery and guile that was the platform for Leicester success in Premier League games.

Unsurprisingly, like the other Leicester players mentioned above, Mahrez's name has been mentioned with European giants who would have certainly been drawn in by his match winning ability.
Arsenal, who failed in their chase of Jamie Vardy, have been credited with an interest from the likes of the Mirror earlier in the summer, as were Manchester United, Barcelona and French powerhouse Paris Saint Germain at the end of the season.
Foxes fans will be delighted to see Mahrez back in their kit though, as he joined up with the rest of the squad at their training camp in Austria, and with Vardy's decision to remain with the Premier League champions, and with Champions League football on the agenda this season, will be hopeful that he is set to stay exactly where he is.
