Many young and fringe players are said to be attracting interest from elsewhere.
It has already been reported that Cameron Brannagan had attracted the interests of Wigan Athletic - with an approach being dismissed - but Brad Smith, Ryan Kent, Pedro Chirivella, Kevin Stewart and Connor Randall are all reportedly attracting interest from clubs in the Football League.
However, it looks as though Allan Rodriguez de Souza will have to play elsewhere again this season as there are issues with obtaining a work permit for the Brazilian.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp seems to want any of his younger players that are sent out on loan to move to the right club, with the report suggesting that Liverpool will check out of the facilities, training methods and playing style of whoever express interest in one of their fringe players.
One or two of the players could be knocking on the door of the first-team this season, while others could do with the time away from Anfield just to get some regular senior football under their belts elsewhere.
Smith could be one player that will remain at Anfield but it all depends on whether the club are successful in their pursuit of a new left-back. Randall could be further down the pecking order in the full-back roles as well, especially with Jon Flanagan finding some fitness.
Chirivella recently signed a new contract and has plenty of time to make it at Anfield, but there is a lot of competition for places in the central midfield area, and while Kevin Stewart played his fair share of games towards the end of last season, he may find it a little more difficult this time around due to the lack of European football.
