The Argentine midfielder, who was released by Queens Park Rangers this summer, has attracted interest from Fulham, with Brentford likely suitors.

Three Championship clubs, including Fulham, are interested in released Queens Park Rangers midfielder Alejandro Faurlin, according to the player's agent.

Faurlin has trained with the Cottagers but Lucas Cominelli, who represents the 29-year-old, told Get West London it's "a bit early" to say if they'll follow up their interest.

However, Cominelli also revealed that two other clubs, one of whom is London-based, are also keen on his client.

And with Fulham, Queens Park Rangers and Brentford the capital's only Championship clubs, it would appear the Bees are one.

"Alejandro would like to stay in London, and the system at Fulham would suit him well," Cominelli told Get West London.

"It's a bit early to say whether they want to take him permanently, but there is another London Championship club interested and one outside London.

"At the moment, he is just focusing on his training, and he's very fit."

Faurlin was one of several QPR stars culled by Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink as the Dutchman looks to re-mould his squad on a budget.

The former Rosario Central prospect arrived at Loftus Road in 2009 and appeared in all three of the R's Premier League campaigns despite being afflicted by multiple injury woes.

Evidently, he is settled in West London and a move to Fulham would undoubtedly appeal, though it remains to be seen if the Cottagers' alleged pursuit of Wolves midfielder Kevin McDonald could scupper his hopes of a move to Craven Cottage.
