West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino will reject the new contract offered by the club, according to The Telegraph.
“Berahino has been offered a four-year deal, worth a potential £55,000 a week, which will make him Albion's best paid player, but it is understood he has no intention of signing,” states the report in The Telegraph.
The striker scored four goals and created 18 chances in 31 Premier League appearances for West Brom last season.
Berahino had a pass accuracy of 78% and a shot accuracy of 44%, and won eight headers, 18 dribbles and 14 tackles.
During the 2014-15 campaign, the striker scored 14 goals and created 28 chances in 38 Premier League matches for the Baggies.
The 22-year-old had a pass accuracy of 83% and a shot accuracy of 54%, and won 18 headers, 26 dribbles and 26 tackles.
Berahino is far from the finished article, but he has a lot of potential and would be a good long-term signing for any Premier League club.
