According to Spanish publication Sport, Arsenal are willing to enter the race for Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan.

The Gunners are expected to be busy this summer as they look to build on their second placed finish last season.

They have already made one big signing, securing Switzerland star Granit Xhaka in a big money move from Borussia Monchengladbach.

He is unlikely to be the only arrival at the club, and it appears that another midfielder could end up at the Emirates Stadium with him.

According to Sport, they are willing to make a move for Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan, should the Turkey international be willing to discuss a move.

He endured a highly frustrating first season with the La Liga champions last year after joining from Atletico Madrid.

He had to wait until January this year for his debut, courtesy of a transfer ban imposed on the club by FIFA, and struggled to impress when given a chance in the second half of the campaign.

They are now happy to let him leave the club, and Arsenal are reportedly among those who would be interested in his signature should he also be willing to discuss an exit.
