Slaven Bilic is in charge of West Ham United at the moment, but could he be tempted to become the new England head coach?

Former Leeds United and Queens Park Rangers manager Neil Warnock suggested on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Friday morning (broadcast from 6am, July 8) that West Ham United could lose Slaven Bilic this summer.

Warnock suggested that Bilic would be a good candidate for the England head coach job.

England are looking for a new head coach following the departure of Roy Hodgson at the end of the Three Lions’ disappointing 2016 European Championship campaign in France.

“Bilic, you know, will they keep him at West Ham?” said Warnock on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Friday morning (broadcast from 6am, July 8).

“I mean, you talk about foreign managers for England. He has managed international sides, he speaks English, he has been managing in the Premier League, he is as good a shout as anybody.”

Bilic was appointed the West Ham manager in the summer of 2015 and has a contract with the London club until June 2018, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.

The former Croatia international defender did a remarkable job at West Ham last season, and fans will expect more from him and the team during the 2016-17 campaign.

The 47-year-old is a very good tactician and is brilliant at man-management, and he would be a good candidate for the England managerial job.

However, Bilic seems to be enjoying his job at West Ham and has already started pre-season training, and it is very unlikely that he will leave the London club anytime soon.
