Everton are reportedly one of several teams interested in the Crystal Palace winger.

According to the Mirror, Everton are interested in a move for Crystal Palace star Yannick Bolasie.
The Eagles have signed Andros Townsend from Newcastle United in this transfer window and as a result could allow their star man to leave.
The report claims that Everton, as well as West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur, are interested in the player.

Should the Blues make a move for the DR Congo international, he would surely be a replacement for Kevin Mirallas in the left wing position.
With that in mind, it seems prudent to see how the two players compared in the stats last season.
We did just that, courtesy of those provided by Opta, and they produced a conclusive answer as to whether Bolasie would be an upgrade for Everton.
| Team | Goals | Ontarget Scoring Att per Game | Goal Assist | Key Passes per Game | Accurate Cross per Game | Accurate Pass per game | Successful Final Third Passes per Game | Won Contest per Game | Appearances | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Yannick Bolasie | C. Palace | 5 | 1 | 3 | 0.88 | 0.96 | 14.12 | 6.92 | 2.88 | 26 |
| Kevin Mirallas | Everton | 4 | 0.7 | 2 | 0.78 | 0.61 | 11.78 | 4.65 | 0.83 | 23 |
In the eight stats that we looked at Bolasie was better than Mirallas in all of them.
He managed more goals and assists than the Belgian, as well as registering more shots on target per game and more key passes per game.

On a per game basis he also produced more accurate crosses, more accurate passes, more successful passes in the final third and won more contests.
Those kind of stats are pretty conclusive and show that perhaps Everton would be wise to make a move for the Crystal Palace star.
