Jamie Redknapp has told The Mail he hopes Manchester United pull out all the stops to sign Paul Pogba from Juventus.

Pogba has been linked strongly with a move to the Red Devils, the club which he left four years ago after barely featuring for the first team.

He has gone onto become an established superstar, and United reportedly want to correct their errors by paying huge money to bring him back, The Manchester Evening News report.

Redknapp believes United should flex their financial muscle to bring him back.

He said: "He has such an aura about him in midfield and now I want to see him dazzle in the Premier League.

"We already have plenty of big managers... now it’s time we landed one of the biggest players. They say never go back, but Manchester United will send out a massive statement to their rivals if they sign him."

Pogba featured for France last night in the Euro 2016 final, but did not have a great individual display, with his country going on to lose 1-0 in extra time.

This could work in United's favour as it should help cool the increasingly inflated price tags being discussed for his signature - providing it does not put them off.

As Redknapp points out, Pogba would be an ideal acquisition for Jose Mourinho's United, and put the rest of the league on notice.
