Italian defender Giuseppe Bellusci is feeling positive in his new surroundings after leaving Leeds United for Empoli.
Bellusci is on a season long loan with the Serie A side, and is expected to make a permanent move away from Leeds once the upcoming season is over.
The centre-back was a divisive figure during his time at Elland Road, and it seems he was far from happy there.

Speaking to Tuttomercatoweb, Bellusci said that he wanted to thank Leeds owner Massimo Cellino for granting his exit, before lamenting the focus on defensive work at the club.
He said: "I thank Cellino who gave me the opportunity to return to Italy complying with my wish. I wanted strongly [to come] back here for so many reasons.
"I love working on the defensive and in England this was not done. Tactically Italy is is a step ahead of everyone.
"I saw Empoli worked on this as important and I am happy to be here."

The best outcome for Leeds this season regarding Bellusci is for him to settle well at Empoli and really go on to play to a high standard and establish himself in the first team, as this will make his permanent exit next summer a lot more likely.
Bellusci sounds as though he has had enough of Engish football and wants to re-settle in Italy.
Whether at another English club he would have found it different enough is uncertain, but it appears he is unlikely to be willing to want to find out.
