Lee Erwin has joined Oldham Athletic on a season-long loan deal from Leeds United.
Leeds United forward Lee Erwin has admitted on social networking site Twitter that it will be tough with Oldham Athletic next season.
The 21-year-old forward moved to Leeds in the summer of 2015 after leaving Scottish outfit Motherwell.
The youngster failed to make a huge mark at Elland Road last season and was also sent out to Bury on a brief loan spell.
The former Scotland Under-19 international featured in 11 Championship appearances for Leeds last season.
Erwin failed to score a goal or create a chance for the West Yorkshire outfit, and had a pass accuracy of 53% and a shot accuracy of 50%, and won seven headers, one dribble and two tackles.
During his loan spell at Bury, the forward played in three competitive matches.
The Leeds-owned youngster has taken to Twitter to admit that the 2016-17 season on loan at Oldham will be tough, but he is looking forward to the challenge.
Leeds fans have responded to Erwin’s message on Twitter.
