Papiss Cisse celebrates scoring the first goal for Newcastle
Newcastle United have taken to Twitter to react to Papiss Cisse’s exit from the club.
The striker left Newcastle on Saturday when he completed a move to Chinese Premier League side Shandong Luneng.
He has reportedly agreed a lucrative deal with the Chinese outfit, turning down interest from three Premier League clubs to make the move.

His departure brings about an end to an end to a four-year spell at St James’ Park in which he scored 36 goals in 111 Premier League games.
His time in the North East was something of an up and down affair, as he occasionally looked to be the answer to their goalscoring problems.

It now remains to be seen if Rafa Benitez will look to replace Papiss Cisse in the squad this summer.
He has already brought in Dwight Gayle, and also has Ayoze Perez and Aleksandar Mitrovic, while Adam Armstrong is another option.
Indeed, Cisse’s departure will likely come as good news to the youngster, who is keen for his chance after impressing at Coventry City last season.
