Quoted by the Daily Star, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says he would be happy even if the Reds fail to make any more signing this summer.

The German has been one of the busier managers so far this summer bringing in no fewer than four new signings.

Joel Matip arrived on a free transfer from Schalke, Loris Karius was secured from Mainz and Sadio Mane joined in a big money move from Southampton.

Serbian youngster Marko Grujic has also been added after Klopp personally attended his work permit hearing to secure his move to Anfield from Red Star Belgrade.

More signings are expected as Klopp looks to be a squad capable of qualifying for the Champions League, but he says he would be happy should no new faces arrive.

“I would be really happy if the transfer window was ending and I could say ‘here is the squad’” the Daily Star quotes him as saying.

"But it’s not a wish contest. Everything is good until now. We have finished the first week, now we look forward."

It remains to be seen what, if any, extra work that the Liverpool manager will look to do in the remainder of this transfer window.

He has already filled three priority positions, having added a goalkeeper, central defender and forward with his signings so far.

Left back is likely to be his next target given how Alberto Moreno struggled last season, but beyond that his potential next signings are something of a mystery.
