Celtic forward Moussa Dembele has revealed to The Scottish Sun that the Champions League match he remembers the most.
Dembele is just 19 years of age and joined Celtic in the summer transfer window after leaving Fulham at the end of the 2015-16 season.
The France Under-20 international is highly rated and established himself as one of the best teenage footballers in the Championship during his time at Fulham.
The youngster will be a key player for Celtic in their quest to qualify for the group stage of the Champions League next season.
Dembele has revealed which Champions League game he remembers the most.
That game is the 2005 Champions League final between AC Milan and Liverpool at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul.
Milan were 3-0 up at half time, but Liverpool scored thrice in quick succession in the second period to make it 3-3.
The match went into extra time and eventually penalties, which the Reds won 3-2.
“I watched the Champions League a lot as a kid,” Dembele told The Scottish Sun. “The game I remember the most was the final in 2005 between Liverpool and AC Milan.
“As a kid, when you hear the Champions League music on TV, of course you want to be there and be in the place of the players who are playing in it. Now I have the chance to do this at Celtic, and hopefully qualify for the group stage.”
Celtic are one of the biggest clubs in the world, but they have not featured in the Champions League for the past two seasons.
