The Hammers are keen on the Napoli striker but won’t match his asking price.
Manolo Gabbiadini
According to Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, West Ham United are still keen on a move for Napoli’s Manolo Gabbiadini.
The Hammers are desperate to add a striker to their ranks this summer and have been linked to several across Europe.
They failed in a bid to sign Michy Batshuayi from Marseille as the Belgian eventually joined Chelsea, while Lyon have resisted their attempts to sign Alexandre Lacazette.

They have now turned their attention elsewhere and it seems that they have revived their previous interest in Manolo Gabbiadini.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, they are pressing for the Italy international’s signature but so far are unwilling to meet Napoli’s asking price.

The Italian side want €25 million for the striker, around £21 million, as they need the funds to kick-start their transfer business.
That is not a price that the Hammers are willing to pay though, with the report claiming they are only willing to go as high as €20 million, around £17 million.
It now remains to be seen if a deal can be struck, with West Ham’s search having proved to be a frustrating one so far.
