Dominic Ball at Rangers
Tottenham Hotspur have started pre-season training ahead of the 2016-17 campaign.
A number of first-team players, such as Harry Kane, Kyle Walker and Danny Rose, have not reported for pre-season training yet, but head coach Mauricio Pochettino has started his work already.
One of the Spurs players who is training with the first team at the moment is Dominic Ball.
The 20-year-old versatile footballer, who can play as a defender or as a defensive midfielder, played on loan for Rangers last season.
The youngster was one of the better players for the Gers, as they won the Scottish Championship title with ease and gained automatic promotion to the Scottish Premiership for the 2016-17 campaign.
Ball was training with the Tottenham first team on Friday and he got stuck in, as shown in the photos below.
The youngster is very talented, but it remains to be seen if he will be part of the Spurs’ first team next season.
Competition for places in the Tottenham starting lineup is fierce, and it is likely that Ball would be sent out on loan again.
If Pochettino does decide to send Ball out on loan again, then perhaps Rangers could try to sign him.
The Gers have recruited midfielder Joey Barton and defender Clint Hill already in the summer transfer window, but perhaps manager Mark Warburton could be tempted to re-sign Ball in order to enhance his side’s chances of competition with Old Firm rivals Celtic for the Scottish Premiership title next season.
