Vincent Janssen scores the first goal for Netherlands

Vincent Janssen is on his way to Tottenham Hotspur.

Vincent Janssen has been pictured leaving AZ Alkmaar's training complex ahead of his transfer to Tottenham Hotspur.

The Dutch international is en route to complete his move to the Premier League side, and was snapped, suitcase in hand, by photographers as he left the Eredivisie side's training complex.

Dutch website Voetball Zone last night reported AZ have finally accepted an offer from Tottenham Hotspur, whose latest bid met their asking price.

Janssen is due in London for a medical, to complete his transfer to the club.

The striker scored 27 Eredivisie goals last season to finish as top scorer, and his arrival will be vital in taking the pressure off Golden Boot winner Harry Kane.

Janssen is just 21-years-old and the chance to play Champions League football with Tottenham is an opportunity he did not want to turn down.

The striker's deal should be done in time for him to fly out to Australia for pre-season with the rest of the squad later this month.

He will become the club's second summer signing, following the arrival of Victor Wanyama from Southampton.
