According to the Mirror, Everton are facing a fight to convince Graziano Pelle to join the club this summer.

The Blues are likely to be busy in the transfer window as Koeman looks to spend the money made available by majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri.

A new striker is likely to be on their wish list given how the likes of Arouna Kone and Oumar Niasse failed to provide sufficient cover for Romelu Lukaku last season.

One man they have been linked with is Southampton striker Graziano Pelle, who looks set to leave St Mary’s this summer.

Koeman helped him rekindle his career at the Saints and is keen to reunite with the Italy striker at Goodison Park.

However, according to the Mirror he faces a fight to convince him to make he move as the player is eyeing a return to Italy instead.

They report he has set his heart on a move to Juventus and believes that Serie A is on the rise once again. Koeman will fight hard to secure the striker though and can better any contract that the Serie A champions offer him.
