According to The Telegraph, Leeds United midfielder Lewis Cook is set to undergo a medical with Bournemouth after the clubs agreed a £6m.

The Whites have enjoyed a busy day with Swansea City playmaker Matt Grimes and Oxford forward Kemar Roofe joining the club, but the day could end on a sour note with Cook's alleged departure.

The 19-year-old star has come up through the ranks with Leeds having joined way back in 2004, and is now a key player at Elland Road.

Cook has become a key part of the Leeds midfield, and established himself as one of the top English teenagers outside the Premier League with a host of impressive performances for the Whites.

Cook's displays have understandably triggered major interest in his signature, and The Telegraph now report that Bournemouth have agreed a £6m deal to land Cook.

It's claimed that Cook will undergo a medical with Bournemouth on Friday, after talks between the two clubs are believed to have advanced considerably in the last 72 hours.

With just one year left on his contract at Elland Road, Cook is now being sold for just £6m, when many fans would feel that he's arguably worth twice that value.

The deal isn't completed just yet, but Cook is expected to be a Bournemouth player inside the next 48 hours, handing Cherries boss Eddie Howe his fourth signing of the summer.
