Paulinho was sold by Tottenham Hotspur last summer.
Yesterday marked three years to the day that Tottenham Hotspur clinched the signing of Paulinho from Corinthians.
He was subsequently sold last summer and Spurs may not be missing his presence in midfield - but the fact was still acknowledged by a fans account on Twitter.
And such was the Brazilian's appreciation, that he took time out to post a brief acknowledgement.
Paulinho did not really feature much in his one and only season under Mauricio Pochettino, and it was no surprise that he was sold last summer.
Despite this it was evident at times he is a good player, but it just did not click into place for him at White Hart Lane.

Spurs sold him to Chinese club Guangzhao Evergrande, where he has made 24 appearances for the side this season, scoring four goals.
Still only 27-years-old, there is still a chance Paulinho heads back to Europe at some stage for another crack at moving onwards with his career.
It won't be with Tottenham, but he still evidently holds an affinity and respect with supporters of his former team.
