New Celtic signing Moussa Dembele has told the club’s official website that he is settling in well with his new teammates.

The striker became Brendan Rodgers first signing as Celtic manager last week after completing a move from Fulham, signing a four-year deal with the Scottish champions.

He did not feature for them in their first two pre-season friendlies, having only joined up with the squad at their training camp in Maribor last week.

His focus now will be on gaining his fitness and integrating with his new teammates and he believes he is already settling in well with the group.

“I have found it very good as the boys are very friendly and I'm settling in well,” he told celticfc.net.

“I have found the boys very good and they have obviously been training more than me but it’s a nice team and we are just getting ready for the challenges to come.

It now remains to be seen what role that Dembele will have to play in Brendan Rodgers team next season.

Leigh Griffiths was in inspired form for them last season as he managed 35 goals in all competitions, 31 of which came in the Scottish Premiership.

It seems unlikely that he will be dropped for next season as a result, and getting both players into his line up will likely be one of the main questions that Rodgers will have to answer.
