The forward made a big money move from Southampton last month.
The winger became the Reds' fourth signing of the summer when he completed a big money move from Southampton.
His switch comes after an impressive spell with the Saints during which he was a key player under Ronald Koeman.
He had certainly impressed Jurgen Klopp who reportedly identified him as key to his plans for his team moving forward.
And Glasner, who worked with Mane during his time at Red Bull Salzburg, is of the same mind, saying that the Senegal international is the perfect fit for Klopp’s style.
"He's the type of player who fits perfectly in the philosophy of Jurgen Klopp," Oliver Glasner told ESPN.
"He's very quick. He has a fantastic mentality to work against the ball [and] play very high pressing. He works a lot for the team in defence, which is very important for Liverpool.”
It remains to be seen how Klopp plans to fit Mane into his side next season given the options he has available to him.
He currently has several forward options, with both Divock Origi and Daniel Sturridge starring under him last season.
Mane is likely to start in the right wing position and it will be interesting to see how the German sets up his side to get all three players into his starting line-up on a regular basis.
