According to a report in the Bolton News, Bolton Wanderers midfielder Darren Pratley is expected to discuss a move to Queens Park Rangers in the near future.

Pratley has been granted permission to discuss a move to Loftus Road with QPR boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.

Bolton are looking to offload the 31-year-old midfielder, who they do not believe has a future.

Whether Rangers will have to pay a fee to sign Pratley remains to be seen, with the Bolton News suggesting that he may be available to leave on a free transfer.

QPR are on the lookout for additions in midfield, following the departures of Leroy Fer and Matt Phillips in recent times.

QPR are also expecting to lose Sandro in the coming weeks, meaning there is room for a new signing in central midfield.

Rangers are looking to reduce their wage bill, to cope with life in the Championship.

Pratley made 39 appearances for Bolton last season, but he was unable to help them avoid relegation to League One.
