According to the Mirror, Newcastle United have told both Georginio Wijnaldum and Moussa Sissoko that they will not leave for anything less than £20 million.

There are concerns that several of their Magpies first team stars will seek exits this summer following their relegation to the Championship.

Andros Townsend has already left for Crystal Palace, while both Sissoko and Wijnaldum have also been linked with moves away from St James Park.

Newcastle are naturally resistant to losing two of their key men though and have reportedly put big asking prices on their heads.

According to the Mirror, they have told the agents of both players to only approach the club about a sale if they have lined up offers of £20 million or more.

Unless the players can find such deals, they will be expected report for pre-season training and aid the Magpies bid to secure a return to the Premier League next season.

It will now be interesting to see if either player can secure that sort of deal in the coming weeks, but for now it appears a stay in the North East is on the cards.
