The 25-year-old met his new Tottenham Hotspur team-mates recently.
The Kenyan joined Tottenham in an £11 million move from Southampton last week and the 25-year-old linked up with his new colleagues yesterday.
But while Wanyama says all the boys were "fantastic", the big man reveals it was also nice to see playmaker Christian Eriksen.
“I felt so welcome. It’s the first time I’ve met Chris and it was good to see him. The lads were also fantastic. I’ve had a great reception today. I’m really happy," he told the club's official website.
The defensive midfielder will be competing with Eric Dier for a regular spot next term and Spurs fans for the most part seem to be loving Wanyama's arrival.
The former Celtic man will add plenty of depth to that position and, with the Lilywhites set for much more games this season compared to last term due to Champions League qualification, the option to rotate him and Dier is a welcome one indeed.
While Wanyama is an excellent addition, many Tottenham fans will be determined to see a striker roll up to the North London side - and that man could be Vincent Janssen, with ESPN reporting that the Dutch hitman is nearing a move.
