Liverpool goalkeeper Danny Ward is expected to join Huddersfield Town on loan in the summer transfer window, according to The Daily Mail.
Ward has been on the books of Liverpool since 2012 and has a contract with the Merseyside outfit until June 2020, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
The 23-year-old has yet to establish himself in the Reds’ first team, having played on loan for Morecambe and Aberdeen since 2015.
The goalkeeper is on international duty at the moment, playing for Wales at the ongoing 2016 European Championship in France.
Wales are having a great tournament and have reached the semi-finals, where they will take on Portugal.
Ward has played once for Chris Coleman’s side at the Euro 2016 finals in France so far.
With Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius set to fight for the number one spot between the posts next season, the Welshman is going to struggle for playing time yet again.
If Huddersfield can guarantee him first-team action, then it would be best for Ward if he joins the Championship club on a season-long loan deal.
