Ronald Koeman is allegedly keen on a reunion with the Porto defender.
The Blues are expected to be busy in this summer transfer window, as new manager Ronald Koeman reportedly has had big funds made available to him by Farhad Moshiri.
Several big money signings have already been linked as the Dutchman looks to improve the squad he inherited from Roberto Martinez.
The defence could be one area that he looks to make additions in and according to O Jogo Bruno Martins Indi is on their list of potential targets.
According to them, Everton could offer £8.3 million for his services, although it is unknown if that is enough to tempt the Portuguese giants into a sale.
Martins Indi has a past association with Koeman, with the two having worked together at Feyenoord, and he appears to be keen to rekindle that relationship.
The player could potentially be targeted as a replacement for John Stones as he is continually linked with a big money move away in the summer transfer window.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is reportedly keen on the England international and perhaps Koeman is already drawing up potential targets should Stones depart Goodison Park.
