HITC Sport understands Stuart McCall wants Scot at Valley Parade
Lee Erwin of Motherwell
Bradford City are leading the chase to land Leeds United forward Lee Erwin, HITC Sport understands.
The young Scottish front-man moved to Elland Road from Motherwell in 2015 when the West Yorkshire giants beat a number of clubs to his signature.
Erwin, though, has never had much of a look-in at Leeds and did not make his debut for the club until November last year, after spending a month on-loan at League One Bury.
Leeds United’s Lee Erwin
New Leeds boss Garry Monk is now ready to sanction another loan move, and that has caught the attention of new Bantams chief Stuart McCall.
McCall was the Mortherwell manager who gave Erwin his first team debut and he has clearly maintained and interest in his progress as he is now looking to snap him up.
HITC Sport understands a number of clubs have made contact with Leeds about a deal, but Bradford look to be the firm favourites to clinch his signature.
