Ashley Young celebrates with Stiliyan Petrov

Petrov is hoping to play a part in the Championship for the recently relegated side, announcing his desire to do so back in April, having previously been training with the under-21s.
He retired from the game four years ago and underwent chemotherapy in order to get healthy once again.
At 36-years-old, an age where many players retire, Petrov's story is a unique one, and former teammate Ashley Young is thrilled for him.

Young played alongside Petrov for several seasons at Villa, with Petrov retiring only one year after the winger left for Manchester United.
His admiration for his former teammate speaks volumes for the way the Bulgarian is admired, and how his comeback is making the football world sit up and take notice.
