New Tottenham Hotspur signing Victor Wanyama has been talking up his first day training with the club, describing it as 'special.'
Speaking to Spurs TV, Wanyama said he had been looking forward to linking up with his new club.
He said: "It was really a special day for me, my first day in training, they welcomed me very well, so I was really happy today.
"I was looking forward to it, and today I've done it and it felt very good and I'm looking forward to the happy days."

Wanyama clinched his move to Tottenham from Southampton last month for a cut price fee of £11 million, having had only one year remaining on his contract with the Saints.
The Kenyan international is linking up with head coach Mauricio Pochettino for the second time in his career, and is likely to start on the opening weekend of the season away to Everton, with Mousa Dembele suspended.

Crucially this means he knows exactly what Pochettino expects in pre-season, and the manager's notoriously demanding methods.
With a reward of Champions League football to play with Spurs, the midfield star will surely realise all the hard work put in now will be worth it when the season begins.
