According to reports from Estadio Deportivo, Dennis Praet’s agency company Stellar Group is determined to get the Belgian international to sign for Southampton.
Dennis Praet has emerged as one of the finest attacking young players in Europe following stunning performances for Anderlecht over the past few years and as a result, the attacking midfielder has managed to grab the attention from a number of top clubs.
It is widely believed that the 22-year-old will now be making a move away from Anderlecht this summer due to the fact that he has entered the final year of his contract at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium and Premier League outfit Southampton had been credited with a keen interest.
According to the Sun, Southampton were said to be preparing a £10 million bid for Praet but as a blow to their hopes of completing the deal, the player’s father had recently told ABC Sevilla that the player was instead planning to join Europa League Champions Sevilla.
Nonetheless, Southampton have not given up on their hopes of signing Praet and now according to reports from Estadio Deportivo, it can be revealed that the player’s agency company, Stellar Group, is working in liaison with the Saints to convince the Belgium international to join the Premier League outfit.
Southampton are believed to be capable of offering higher wages to Praet but the lure of Champions League football at Sevilla could still make it difficult for the Saints to sign the youngster, despite efforts from the Stellar Group.
